The student, identified as Omotosho Dorcas, was reportedly six months pregnant when she visited Al-Hassan Clinic and Maternity for a termination. Sources said she bled profusely during the procedure and died on the spot.

Police detectives later arrived at the clinic, took photographs, and moved her remains to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, for preservation.

The individual behind the procedure has been arrested, and authorities confirmed that the case will be handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further probe.
