The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has commenced the construction of the Umar Mohammed Bago Training Centre in Minna, Niger State. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by government officials, accountants, and community leaders.

ICAN leaders said the facility will serve as a hub for professional development, training, and research in financial management. They added that it would boost capacity building for accountants in the region and across the country.

The project is part of ICAN’s long-term plan to strengthen financial accountability and support national growth through skilled manpower.
