CDS: Military Justice Protects Troops and Strengthens Professionalism

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has underscored the importance of military justice in safeguarding the rights of soldiers and ensuring discipline in the armed forces. He noted that a transparent justice system within the military boosts morale and professionalism.

Speaking at a defence forum in Abuja, Musa explained that fair treatment of personnel builds trust in the system and ensures accountability at all levels. He stressed that justice was not only for punishing misconduct but also for protecting the integrity of troops in service.

He assured that the military high command would continue to uphold laws that strengthen professionalism.
